Muretain Baseball: New Era in Nationale D3

the essential
After two full seasons in the regional championship, the Muret baseball team officially reached the National D3.

An expected climb. A deserved climb. And above all a climb which tells a beautiful sporting story.

Champion of Occitanie for two consecutive years, the club confirmed its solidity during the decisive matches played in September 2025. Against the Saint-Aubin club, near Bordeaux, the Muretain players were able to keep a cool head. Two clear victories. Two controlled matches. And a validated ticket for the national level.

Looking for sponsors

This accession marks an important turning point for the club. For two years, the structure has been strengthened, the sporting project has become clearer and the ambition has grown. In the bays as well as on the field, local baseball is organizing itself, with a structuring objective in mind, the dedicated field project hoped for for the 2027 season.

In the meantime, regional solidarity is in full swing. For the 2026 season, the Muret club thanks Stade Toulousain for the loan of the pitch. The home matches will be played in good conditions, at the Argoulets pitch, in Toulouse.

The National D3 championship will begin on April 19. For this great first, Muret will receive La Rochelle 2. A poster which already smells of resin, clay and wide-awake bats.

This new national adventure is also accompanied by an appeal. The club is looking for sponsors to support its development. Good news for partners, Radio Sud will ensure visibility throughout the year, relaying the team’s news and matches.

In Muret, baseball is no longer just about hitting balls. He knocks on the door of the high level, with seriousness, pleasure and a little smirk. A positive dynamic which could well attract new curious people around the grounds this spring.
