However, many parties predict that MPL ID Season 17 will start at the end of March 2026. This schedule was chosen so as not to clash with the month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr celebrations. This step is quite different from previous seasons which usually start in February or early March.

Various communities also guess that the MPL domestic competition will start after the M7 World Championship. This estimate also refers to last year’s pattern, where MPL was held shortly after M7 World.
The MLBB M7 World Champion tournament itself ended on January 25 2026. However, currently there is no schedule regarding the latest MPL ID season.
If MPL ID Season 17 really starts in March, it is very likely that the regular phase until the playoffs will last until mid-June 2026.
