Montluçon Gymnasium: FFBad & ANDES Spotlight

The French Badminton Federation highlights the Montluçon gymnasium (inaugurated in 2022) in the latest episode of its show Esprit Bad. A large-scale sports facility which perfectly illustrates a successful territorial dynamic serving the development of badminton.

This gymnasium constitutes a major lever for the Montluçon Badminton Club, providing optimal practice conditions and strengthening the attractiveness of the club.

Beyond the infrastructure, this project highlights a collective and inspiring working methodbased on synergies between the local community, the school environment and the federal movement. A cooperation which demonstrates the positive impact of a close partnership for the development of sport in a territory.

From 2023, ANDES relayed feedback from Romain Lefebvredeputy mayor in charge of Sports, who underlined the importance of this structuring project:

“We have a structured club in Montluçon, with committed and motivated volunteers, and successful members, particularly among young people. To develop the discipline on our territory, we lacked structuring equipment. Very quickly, we approached the sports movement to work hand in hand on the construction of a new gymnasium within the Paul Constans high school. Collective work, essential, for the development of badminton and sport in our territory. »

This ambition was fully recognized with the labeling of the gymnasium as a preparation center for the Olympic Games by Paris 2024. A prestigious distinction which attests to the quality of the installation.
