Latvian champion “Mogo”/RSU lost in Nottingham on Wednesday in the first game of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Continental Cup final tournament. In the game of Group A, the Latvian club lost to the home team Nottingham “Panthers” with 0:4.
No goals were scored until the 28th minute of the game, but then Brendan Harris made it 1-0 for the “Panthers”, who later assisted two of the next three goals of the home team. “Mogo”/RSU hockey players made 20 shots, but the opponents shot 35 times at the goal guarded by Kārlis Mežsargas.
