Mézeray-Gabriel d’Argentan: UNSS Sports Success

After having performed in team sports, the Mézeray-Gabriel d’Argentan high school (Orne) presented many athletes, Wednesday January 21, 2026at L’Aigle for the UNSS departmental day dedicated to racket sports.
Around thirty students took part in the various competitions organized throughout the afternoon.

Gold and silver at table tennis

In table tennisthe team composed of Cassandra Le Ny, Lili Jeanne Garel Le Dylio, Célian Fage et Fourat Hajj won the gold medal.

The high school students won against the establishment’s second team, made up of Louna Fontaine, Laura Fernagu, Jules Ange et Enzo Vincentas well as against representatives of the Mézen high school in Alençon. This victory allows them to qualify for the academic championships, scheduled for 4 mars 2026 in Argentan.

In badmintonthe team made up of Nadia Maghnini, Louise Romeuf, Clement Chardon, Mathis Guesdon-Fevrieraccompanied by Leyla Frouin as a young official, took second place in the departmental ranking, a few points from the title. It will nevertheless participate in the regional phases planned for February 11, 2026 in Saint-Lô (Some).

The second team, composed of Jeanne Fiault, Natacha Torzecki, Dorian Beudin et Valentin Jacquettewith Lisa Jourdain as a young official, ranks fourth out of eight teams entered.

In escaladethe high school representatives took part in a meeting organized in Vimoutiers, where they finished in fifth place.
