Medvedev & Bublik: Australian Open Warm-Up Titles

Daniil Medvedev is in top form shortly before the start of his favorite Grand Slam. The Russian tennis professional won the final of the ATP tournament in Brisbane against American Brandon Nakashima 6:2, 7:6 (7:1) and celebrated his 22nd title. Medvedev has already reached the final three times at the Australian Open, which begins on January 18th. In his current form he can go far in Melbourne this year too.

Alexander Bublik won the tournament at the ATP event in Hong Kong. The Kazakh defeated the Italian Lorenzo Musetti 7:6 (7:2), 6:3 in the final and will be in the top ten for the first time in his career on Monday. Despite the final defeat, Musetti improved to fifth place. The Italian has never been so good in the world rankings.
