Participation requirements and precautions (for alumni of Kanto Medical and Pharmaceutical University Rugby Football Federation member schools)

How to apply

• Please download the participation application form, fill out the necessary information, and send it by email to the conference secretariat below by Friday, March 8th at 5:00 p.m. Email address: medical7s@cicinc.co.jp
  After sending the email, please be sure to call the office to confirm receipt. TEL:03-5777-5352

• Teams with incomplete application forms (missing entries, etc.) and teams whose application forms have passed the deadline will be invalidated.

Eligibility for participation

• The maximum number of participants is one team from each university affiliated with the Kanto University of Medical, Dental and Pharmaceutical University Rugby Football Federation.
  *However, over40 is limited to one additional team.
• Tournament registration
  To register for tournaments in the OB category, at least 10 players, including those from member schools, must be registered.
  From among the registered players, please select 14 players for each match and submit a list of players.
  • One player cannot register (participate) in multiple teams.
  • Teams that do not have at least 10 players on the day of the tournament will not be able to participate in the match. Please be sure to apply with players who can participate.
  • Please apply for additional players to the tournament secretariat before the representative meeting.
    Players cannot register on the day of the tournament.
    Additional players can be registered until the above date, but they will not be listed in the tournament program.
  • This year, when applying for OB and Over 40 teams, please enter your email address.
  • Please note that the above qualifications do not apply to guest teams.
  • In order to participate this year, you will be required to respond to a preliminary questionnaire, so we ask for your cooperation.
    This will be an important survey for the continuation of the tournament. Thank you for your understanding.
    (The questionnaire will be sent to you individually via email. If you did not participate last year and this is your first time participating in this tournament, we will send you an email after receiving your participation application.)

• Association registration

  「RugbyFamily.jpTeams that have not registered as a team or as individuals will not be able to participate in this tournament.
  Players who have difficulty registering for a team can register as players in the “MDP Club”.
  The secretariat will handle the procedures on your behalf, so please be sure to write “required” in the MDP club registration field on the application form and clearly state your date of birth.
  Registration fees will be collected for each team on the day of the tournament. (1 person/2,000 yen)
• Teams in their 20s and 30s will participate in the “OB Tournament,” and teams in their 40s and above will participate in the “over40 Tournament.”
  • If a large number of teams apply, a lottery will be held, so we ask for your cooperation in coordinating the combine, etc.
  • To prevent accidents, players under 30 are not allowed to participate in the “over40 tournament”. Additionally, players over the age of 40 should refrain from participating in “OB tournaments” as much as possible.
  • As part of our safety measures, you will be required to undergo a medical check beforehand. Check sheets will be distributed at the representative meeting. Please refrain from participating if you are concerned about your health.
  • Once the competing team has been decided, absenteeism will not be accepted in principle, so please be sure to make adjustments within your team.

About the competition

• Conference method
  It will be held in a tournament format, and the tournament draw (lottery for match cards) will be held at the representative meeting on Saturday, April 27th.

Uniforms must be provided by each team. (For teams with 1st and 2nd, please prepare both.)

• Please prepare the colors of over40 game pants as shown below.
  The 40th generation: white, the 50th generation: green, the 60th generation: red, the 70th generation: yellow

About food, drinks, and ice

• Each team must provide drinks, lunch, and ice for icing.

About transportation, accommodation, and lunch boxes

• For private vehicles, please use the designated parking lot within the park.
  The shuttle bus (Kumagaya Station ⇔ Rugby Stadium) will not be operating as we are adjusting the number of route buses. note that.

About participation fee

• OB: 5,000 yen per person
  Payment methods will be announced soon.(Participation fees will be used by the NPO MDP Club.)

• We plan to hold a “Representatives Meeting” one month before the convention.
  A tournament draw (lottery for match cards) will also be held, so a representative or representative must be present.
  If you will be absent, please contact us in advance. A proxy lottery will be held.
