He Maxoarco Sports Club has been present at the recent edition of Spanish Traditional Archery Championshipone of the most relevant events on the national calendar for this discipline, where its members competed in various modalities and categories against some of the best archers in the country.
The club’s participation in this championship represents a new step in its sporting career and reinforces Fuerteventura’s presence in state-level competitions, in a sport that requires precision, perseverance and solid technical and mental preparation.
Classification in Traditional Shooting
In the division of Longbowthe Maxoarco Sports Club had two representatives in the men’s category. José Carlos Freire Teixeira He managed to place himself in a creditable seventh place in the general classification, putting in an outstanding performance, especially in the knockout rounds, where he demonstrated regularity and solvency against rivals with a high competitive level.
For its part, Rafael Guanche Coca He concluded his participation in position 68, completing a national experience that adds competitive shooting and learning in a modality that is especially demanding due to the technical characteristics of the traditional long bow.
In the mode of Naked Bowthe club was once again present in both the women’s and men’s categories. María Elisa Sáez Vidal He finished the competition in an outstanding fifth position, consolidating himself within the leading group of the classification and confirming his good sporting moment in a highly demanding championship.

The Maxoarco Sports Club also had representation in the section of mixed groupsa modality that values teamwork and rapport between athletes from different clubs.
