Mavs Lose to Jazz: Davis Injury Update

The Dallas Mavericks suffered a defeat in the match played last night against the Utah Jazz. The final result was 114-116 in favor of Markkanen and his teammates, at the end of a match that was almost always balanced, except for a few sporadic attempts to get ahead by both teams.

For the Dallas Mavericks there are 26 points with 10 rebounds and 8 assists from Flagg, 21 points with 11 rebounds from Anthony Davis and 23 points coming off the bench for Klay Thompson.

For the Utah Jazz there are 33 points with 7 rebounds for Markkanen, 19 with 7 assists for George and 14 for Sensabaugh.

However, Anthony Davis’ injury is worth mentioning: the Mavs big man left the field 2 minutes from the end of the match due to an injury to his left hand that occurred shortly before. During the defense on Markkanen the player suffered a hand problem which he initially ignored, motioning to the bench that he could remain on the pitch, but with 2 minutes to go he left the pitch visibly in pain.
