One of the biggest names in football in the world, Marta Silva, married American Carrie Lawrence in a ceremony held in the United States, in Florida. The wedding took place last Friday (02/01).

In a video published on the ceremony organizer’s social media, Marta said that “this is a unique experience and may it be the last”.

Known for its authenticity on and off the field, number 10 wore a white suit, developed especially for her, designed by stylist Carla Gaspar, who explained the idea was to use a Brazilian fabric to enhance the player’s essence. A highlight of the look was the hat, an accessory that is usually part of the athlete’s style away from the field. Carrie wore a white dress with lace details.
