Man City: Fan Refunds After Champions League Exit

After the disappointing 1:3 defeat (to the match report >>>) in the UEFA Champions League against Bodö/Glimt, Manchester City is transferring the money for the tickets back to the fans who traveled with them.

In total, the team was accompanied by 374 fans. Top star Erling Haaland posted on “X” after the game: “We couldn’t leave your support unanswered, now we have to turn things around together.”

Those traveling had to spend around 29 euros for a ticket to the Aspmyra Stadium. The club is therefore raising around 11,000 euros. In a statement they explained: “Paying the costs is the least we can do.”

The team added: “We are also aware that it was a long journey for the fans who supported us on the pitch in the freezing cold on what was a difficult evening for us.”
