Mamadou Sakho Retires: Liverpool & PSG Legend Calls Time On Career

The former French international had not played since the end of last season. He is 35 years old.

Sakho, 35, had not played since the end of his freelance stint with the Georgian club Torpedo Kutaisi (19 matches), during the 2024-25 season.

A 29-time French international and author of a famous double against Ukraine in a World Cup play-off, the Paris native played 201 matches (7 goals) for the Rouge et Bleu. He then played for Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Montpellier.
