Malaysian men’s doubles Soh Wooi Yik-Aaron Chia

JUARA.NET – Malaysian men’s doubles pair, Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik spoke after successfully securing tickets to the quarter-finals.

Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik successfully secured tickets to the quarter-finals after winning the duel against China’s representatives, Chen Xu Jun/Liu Yang.

Even though they are non-seeded representatives, Chen/Liu apparently managed to make it difficult for one of the host’s favorite representatives.

Aaron/Soh, who secured the first game first, could not end the game in the second game.

They had to duel three games because Chen/Liu took the second game.

Fortunately, the three-game duel ended with Aaron/Soh winning.

Herry IP’s team then had the right to qualify for the quarter-finals and just had to wait for their next opponent.

Successfully qualifying for the quarter-finals, Aaron gave credit to the supporters who had cheered them on.

“I do feel the pressure, we also hope to be able to play until the last day. But sometimes expectations and reality are different,” said Aaron.
