Talent Mai Satoda (41) updated her Instagram stories on the 13th. I reported that I won second place in a tennis tournament.
Satoda wrote, “How fun!? A challenge after becoming an adult! Finally, finally, I won runner-up in a tennis tournament!!!” and posted a photo of her and her doubles partner, former TV Tokyo announcer Sachi Aoki, smiling. “Thank you, buddy.” I thanked him.
The two are members of the “Sakashita Chiriko Tennis Club,” hosted by talent Chiriko Sakashita, and others include Ogiyahagi’s Hiroaki Ogi and freelance announcer Hitomi Nakamura.
In addition, Satoda’s husband is Giants’ pitcher Masahiro Tanaka, and Aoki’s husband is Yakult’s new GM Norichika Aoki, both of whom are active in the major leagues. I also have close friendships with my family.
