The Navegantes del Magallanes completed the feat after the 3-2 victory over Bravos de Margarita and entered the Grand Final of the LVBP.

Magallanes won seven in a row to finish with a 10-6 record and be the second place in the Venezuelan baseball final.

La Nave will face Caribes de Anzoátegui in the grand final for the fourth time in the history of the LVBP.

The Navegantes have won twice (2014 and 2022), while Caribes won one final (2015).

The final will begin this Tuesday, January 27 at the Alfonso “Chico” Carrasquel Stadium in the home of the Caribes de Anzoátegui.

Magallanes made one more comeback to reach the final

The Navigators repeated a feat they made customary during their winning streak in the Round Robin.

The team played at the Monumental Stadium in Caracas knowing that they depended on themselves to get into a new final.

Margarita’s Braves did not give him the easy way in a game that was decided by pitching and timely hits.

The Nueva Esparta team broke the tie in the fourth inning with a triple by Ramón Flores, who took advantage of a bad bounce to Ángel Reyes in center field to drive in two runs.

Luis Sardiñas managed to score a run in the bottom of the sixth inning with a single and Rougned Odor scored without problems.

In the seventh, Bravos managed to put runners on second and third base with no outs, but Magallanes’ pitching got out of the problem and kept the game by one run.

The Mexican Carlos Sepúlveda equalized the actions thanks to a single with men in the corners.

And Rougned Odor was the hero after receiving a bases-loaded walk that brought in the winning run and leaving the job in the hands of the reliever.

Raffi Vizcaino took charge of the ninth inning and quickly retired the inning to credit the 3-2 victory.
