departure of idol Guilherme Arana to Fluminense
The number 13 represents the Rooster, the club’s mascot, in the animal game. In fact, Galo Doido himself enters the pitch several times using his shirt number.
Although he experienced rows with some fans after last year’s Copa Sudamericana final, Lyanco is a player closely identified with Atlético. The defender, who arrived at the club in July 2024, makes a point of publishing videos of his children wearing the Galo shirt.
The defender was even chosen to be the protagonist of the launch of Atlético’s new uniform, produced by Nike, alongside his idol Dadá Maravilha. Hugs,
both went to the Arena MRV lawn to show off the new uniform that references the 1971 Brazilian title

In just over a year and a half, Lyanco scored four goals in 66 games for Atlético, in addition to being Minas Gerais champion in 2025 with Alvinegro.
In addition to his good performances on the field, the player’s strong personality caused identification among a large part of the Atlético fans.
