Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic will miss Saturday’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers due to groin pain.

Doncic had 39 points in the Lakers’ 135-117 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday.

The 26-year-old mentioned having “felt something” in his groin area during the warm-up period before the game against the Sacramento Kings on Monday. Doncic still played the match, having received treatment on his leg during the match. The Slovenian also collected 42 points before playing the next day against the Atlanta Hawks.

Doncic leads the league with an average of 33.6 points per game.
