Love’s Status: Healthy But Benched?

Jordan Love is no longer on the concussion protocol, but he will not get the start for the final game of the season Sunday, against the Minneesota Vikings.

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt Lafleur confirmed that Clayton Tune will still get the start.

Love suffered a concussion Dec. 20 against the Chicago Bears and missed the Packers game last week.

In 15 games this season, Love has completed 66.3% of his passes for 3,381 yards and 23 touchdowns, compared to six interceptions.

Last week, Malik Willis was the Packers’ starter and threw for nearly 300 yards, but he injured his shoulder.

The Packers have a 9-6-1 record and are guaranteed to finish the season ranked seventh in the Nationals, with a ticket to the playoffs.
