Apart from these legal matters, Rosenior is now officially starting his new adventure as Chelsea coach after The Blues split with Enzo Maresca. The man born in London, who was brought in from Ligue 1 club Strasbourg, signed a six and a half year contract and will take charge of his first match as Chelsea coach when he visits Charlton Athletic’s headquarters in the FA Cup, next Sunday (11/1). He had not yet started training and was only a spectator when his new club was defeated by Fulham 2-1 in the EPL, Thursday (8/1) early morning WIB.
In a statement, Rosenior said: “I feel extremely humbled and honored to be appointed as coach of Chelsea Football Club. This is a club with a unique spirit and a great history of winning trophies.”
“My job is to protect that identity and build a team that reflects those values in every game we play while continuing to win trophies. Being entrusted with this role means a lot to me and I want to thank everyone for the opportunity and confidence they have given me in this job. I will give everything to deliver the success this club deserves.”
“I firmly believe in teamwork, unity, togetherness and working for each other. Those values will be at the heart of everything we do and the foundation of our success.”
“I am excited to work with such a talented group of players and staff, building strong connections on and off the field, and creating an environment where everyone feels united and driven by the same goals.”
