Levi’s x Jordan 3: New Collaboration & Release Date

Levi’s® Continuing the creative cooperation between the two parties, Jordan Brand launched a new joint series to pay tribute to the spiritual core shared by the two brands and deeply embraced by subculture groups such as artists, athletes, musicians, skateboarders and dreamers. Levi’s launched this time® The x Jordan joint series explores how the spirit of craftsmanship and sports culture intersect, reinterpreting classic styles and injecting sports inspiration. Born out of a common insistence on love and pushing boundaries, this series combines Levi’s® The iconic denim craftsmanship, combined with the Jordan brand’s profound basketball culture and street influence, present works that span cultures and generations.

The core item of this series is Levi’s® x Jordan Air Jordan 3, reinterpreted in unique colors to pay tribute to different communities and moments of the times. Among them, Levi’s® The x Jordan Air Jordan 3 Rigid colorway uses high-quality indigo denim on a large area of the upper, and is paired with black tonal crackle details – this iconic element is the enduring design symbol of Air Jordan 3. Levi’s® The x Jordan Air Jordan 3 Black color scheme is presented in a more refined design, using black pebbled leather, black denim splicing, and a light gray tone faintly revealed under the black denim on the reverse side. It is paired with an off-white midsole and the first black denim embroidered Nike Air heel design, highlighting unique craftsmanship.

Levi’s is specially created for the Lunar New Year and is only available in Greater China, Japan and South Korea.® x Jordan Air Jordan 3 Year of the Horse limited color matching is mainly made of unrinsed natural denim, supplemented by high-end imitation horse hair material splicing, embroidered LOGO on the heel, and the words “Year of the Horse” embroidered with red chain stitch on the inner tongue to pay tribute to the upcoming Lunar New Year. All colorways feature Levi’s on the right side of the shoe® The red flag is paired with the classic Jumpman logo, and Levi’s is displayed on the red insole.® Dollar banknote graphic with “This is a pair of Levi’s® ” words.

The clothing series contains a total of 9 items, combining the language of sports with Levi’s® The combination of denim heritage covers iconic styles and daily wear needs. Levi’s® The x Jordan baseball jersey is made of glossy sports fabric, with a short, loose silhouette, supplemented by matte and glossy red splicing, and decorated with a co-branded woven label, which combines the Jordan brand’s highly regarded Wings logo with Levi’s® The classic two-horse logo is integrated into the details. The Pinnacle baseball jacket, the collection’s most iconic piece, features leather sleeves, a wool-blend body and a satin quilted lining, and draws heavily on vintage graphics from both brands’ archives, including an embroidered “Bull Riding Cowboy” patch that pays homage to Michael Jordan’s legendary career with the Bulls. The Type III Trucker denim jacket reinterprets the classic silhouette with black washed denim, with an enlarged Wings logo on the back and a short, loose fit; the Overshirt Jacket uses 12 ounces of indigo denim, combined with a unique structural design and approved by Levi’s® The iconic pigskin leather badge and golden wheat-colored stitching details demonstrate the brand’s craftsmanship language. The zippered hooded sweatshirt is made of thick lb. fabric with a retro wash effect, equipped with a two-way zipper and co-branded graphics; the short-sleeved T-shirt reinterprets Levi’s® Launched in the 1990s and popularized by Spike Lee’s classic ads, the return of the “Button Your Fly” pattern not only pays homage to the brand’s rich creative history, but has also become an iconic item in the collection.

Bottoms, Black Baggy Jean is based on Levi’s® Made of 578™ silhouette, the lengthened pants are designed to be layered with Air Jordan 3 for a more layered visual effect. They are made of black washed denim with co-branded details and embossed Wings logo. Made from 12-ounce indigo denim, the Baggy Shorts have a loose, below-the-knee silhouette with deep pleats, slant pockets and back patch pockets, as well as co-branded details throughout. A denim hat completes the collection, crafted in indigo denim and featuring an embroidered Air Jordan straight logo, Levi’s brim® Red flag, antique brass hardware with Nike Air logo and brown leather adjuster buckle.

The campaign, styled by Cam Hicks, features multiple communities displaying their skills side by side in a park. Legendary director Spike Lee appears, sharing the screen with tom player Jay Wright – who starred in Spike Lee’s Levi’s® “Button Your Fly” Larry Wright’s son in the classic advertisement symbolizes the great spirit passed down between generations.

Skateboarder Josh Velez—a loyal Jordan skateboarder for more than a decade—and artist Rio Amor also star, while a Tai Chi team wearing the Year of the Horse colors further enriches the look. From the tom players to the skateboarders, every scene conveyed that greatness lies not in the size of the stage, but in the dedication to one’s craft and staying true to oneself. Denim becomes a visual link throughout, symbolizing the common spirit that connects all subcultures.

Levi’s® x Jordan Year of the Horse color matching Air Jordan 3 will be exclusively sold in Greater China on January 23. To celebrate product launches and Chinese New Year, Levi’s® brand and Jordan Brand will create Levi’s in Shanghai from January 23 to January 31® The x Jordan joint space presents the deep history of both parties in different subcultural fields, and provides personalized styling services, joint story display, as well as community gatherings and workshop activities.
