01/13/2026.- The Leganés Badminton Club has started the year in a big way with 12 medals in the Senior National Master of Alfajarín (Zaragoza).
Between January 10-11, still digesting Christmas, the senior players participated in the first Alfajarín Senior Master with very good results.
All participants have been able to collect the Osborne Bull, which has been the protagonist in the form of a trophy.
These have been the results:
– Miguel Ángel de Miguel: DM A1
– Javier Carrón: DM A1
– Sebastián López: in IM B1 and DX B1 and DM B1 (David Hernansanz, Soria)
– Silvia Rueda: DX B1 and DF B1-B2 (Teresa Barberá, La Garriga)
– Beatriz Martín: IF C1-C2 and DX C1 (Santiago Martínez, Soria) and DF C1 (Catherine Stewar, Bianconero)
– Begoña Duque: DF D
– Carmen Duque: DF D
This has been a good start for the club’s players, who will have to continue working harder to be able to win the famous Lacasitos that are awarded only to the winners.
