Layouni Transfer: Häcken Star Set to Depart

BK Häcken is currently in Marbella, Spain, where the team is conducting a training camp for the upcoming season. However, one player should have left the rest of the team, reports The Express.

According to the newspaper, Amor Layouni has been given permission to travel home for a few days. The information states that the 33-year-old is on his way to leaving the club. Among other things, the winger is said to have stakeholders in China.

The information comes after Layouni was recently critical of the training culture in Häcken in an interview with Fotbollskanalen.

– I think it was too forgiving training last year. Some players screw up in practice or do a bad practice and then no one says anything. It has been a bit like that, I think. Then when you talk to them you get too angry so you need to calm down instead. That’s one of the things we miss. You can’t tell anyone anymore, Layouni said then.

The winger is on a contract that expires this summer and revealed in the same interview that he snubbed a contract extension with Hisingsklubben.

– We are quite far apart, me and Häcken. I don’t think I’ll sign a new contract here. I’ve had a few offers from foreign clubs so we’ll see what happens.

Amor Layouni arrived at Häcken from Vålerenga in 2023. Since then, he has been noted for 24 goals and 19 assists in 90 competitive matches.

Layouni has made 15 international appearances for Tunisia and is said to be chasing a place in the nation’s World Cup squad in the summer.
