In the relay so far this season alone, in the competition of eight national teams, Latvia has been in third and fourth place.

The fifth stage of the World Cup will be held in Winterberg in January, when the Olympic qualification will be concluded, but in the first of two stages, on another German track in Oberhof, the medals of the European Championship will also be distributed, with the athletes competing in the Milan-Cortina d’Ampezzo Olympic Games in early February.
