About half a year ago, Iñigo Martínez left Barcelona, on a free transfer, to head to Saudi Arabia where he joined Al Nassr’s squad, joining the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo and João Félix, under the guidance of Jorge Jesus.
In an interview with the program Fanzonebroadcast on Spanish television station 3Cat, the 34-year-old central defender ruled out the possibility of returning to Barcelonanot just because he says he is happy in Al Nassrbut also for another reason: «I can’t go back to Barcelonait is impossible [o presidente Joan] Laporta releases so much money [risos].»
