Badminton in Lamezia Terme is not an improvisation, but a solid reality that is built day after day. Like Sport APD officially announces the start of the project “Fly With Us 2025 edition 2026”confirming for the second consecutive year in the territory the winner of the prestigious federal tender promoted by FIBa(Italian Badminton Federation) e Sports and Health.

From the Baddy Cup to the future: the project in schools

After the extraordinary success of the 2025 edition at the Scientific High School of Lamezia Terme – which culminated on 19 December with the Baddy Cup involving around 200 students – Tycke Sport now brings badminton to the little ones. The new project will involve the second and third classes of “Don Bosco” primary school.

This is a recognition of exceptional value: Tycke was the winner by occupying one of only seven places available in all of Italyan achievement that rewards the technical and design quality of the association, active with badminton in the Lamezo area since 2014. The path, which sees Tycke in the role of tutor of the institute, will end at the end of March with Baddy Cup 2026.Official partner of “RiGenerazioni”: sport against youth discomfort

Tycke Sport further consolidates its role as a primary social player by announcing its participation as official partner of the “RiGenerazioni” project. The initiative focuses on regeneration of places to counteract the growing youth discomfort. The project sees the Municipality of Lamezia Terme intervene as a collaborator and institutional supporter, supported by a network of the most qualified partners in the area. Also in this context, badminton will be the prevalent sporting discipline to involve and redevelop the youth social fabric.

A 360-degree commitment: Badminton as an engine of growth

In every project carried out by Tycke Sport, badminton is always the prevailing disciplineused as an educational, inclusive and competitive tool.

Inclusion and Recovery: Leader of Prison Project 2024 at the IPM of Catanzaro (with Lucky Friends and Mamas Lucky) and winner of the project “Superabilities” of the Calabria Region, with badminton the absolute protagonist for the inclusion of people with disabilities and poor people.

School and Territory: In addition to the primary, he will start in February “Junior Active School”for 28 classes of the Don Bosco Middle School. Tycke technicians are also active with SAJ, in institutes “Casalinuovo” e “Patari–Pascoli” of Catanzaro and in 4 other institutes in the surrounding area, always with a specific focus on badminton.

Support for Families: Tycke is the recipient of the Family Dowry Fund and accredited for i Sports Vouchers from the Calabria Regionguaranteeing free access to sports.

Transparency and Seriousness: Con 97 members in 2025 and the management of the dedicated “Don Bosco” gym, the association confirms its solidity with the early approval of the budget which took place recently on 12 Januarya sign of managerial correctness that leaves no room for improvisation.
