8th league Horní Planá – Kájov. | Video: Lukáš Hoďánek
Only nine teams are playing in the men’s district championship this season. Every point gained is all the more important. Eight games in the fall and eight in the spring is a very few games, but it flashes back to “better times.” After the season, the winner of the district (or someone else?) advances to the regional seventh league, but five teams from each group are relegated from it, and one cannot expect that only one team from Český Krumlov would go down. But let’s wait until the end of the current season to see if the district will play 10, 11 or more teams in the next season.
The autumn part of the championship also brought interesting data. So let’s talk about them one by one.
After the autumn, the team Větřní is in the best position in the table, which has a five-point lead over the defending champion – Horní Planou / Frymburk B. The lead is promising, but it can quickly disappear in the three-point system.
Out of the nine teams, the Horní Plané players had the most accurate marksmanship, scoring 35 goals. A decent average of over four goals per game. The gunners from Kájov scored 28 goals and the leader Vétřní scored 27 goals. On the other hand, Dolní Dvořiště B footballers remain at the bottom with five goals.
The table is somewhat reflected in the rating of goals conceded. The last B team Dvořiště got the most goals, 49. Brloh followed with 28 and Holubov with 26 goals. Leader Vétřní collected the fewest of them (6).
As for the Gunners themselves, Lukáš Růžička from Horní Planá scored the most goals, 11. Miroslav Písek from Holubov has only one less. Vojtěch Kastenmajer from Horní Planá and Petr Vnuk from leader Větřní scored after seven hits.
Kájov – Malonty: Čabela increases to 3:0. | Video: Lukáš Hoďánek
Český Krumlov is traditionally the most decent district in the south of Bohemia in terms of red cards. Only two fell in autumn. They were seen by Matěj Stolarik from Horní Planá and Petr Fišer from Velešín.
It’s the same with yellow cards. Three players saw the most, even though in eight matches it is almost half of the matches – Jiří Šusta from Nová Ves, Filip Sulzer from Dolní Dvořiště and Karel Zatloukal from Velešín.
In the autumn part, there was only one forfeit result. Kájov won 3:0 over the B club Dolní Dvořiště, which announced in advance that it would not come to the match.
In Český Krumlov, penalty kicks are taken in the event of a draw. “Plichty” scored only two in the fall, and maybe that’s why the actors of the match Velešín – Malonty forgot that they had to give it away for the second point in the shootout from the penalty spot. So maybe they’ll shoot for the second point in the rematch…
