Koubek Inspects National Team Game Camps

The head coach of the national team, Miroslav Koubek, together with his assistant Jan Suchopárek, general manager of the national team Pavel Nedvěd and team leader Michal Černý traveled on an inspection trip to see the players of the national team.

The national team will be the first to visit Spain, where FC Viktoria Plzeň, SK Slavia Prague and AC Sparta Prague are preparing for the spring part of the season.

It is the players of these clubs that make up a significant part of the national team, and moreover, they train not far from each other on the Iberian Peninsula.

“We will visit all three training camps, we want to see the matches, and of course we are also concerned with personal contact with our players. These will be the first consultation meetings, because, for example, the Slavia players probably know me less than those from Pilsen. It is necessary to greet each other, so that everything does not take place only over the phone. Personal contact is irreplaceable, we will also partially indicate the direction we want to go. It is good that these three training camps met in one place and like this we can reach most of the players personally,” says national team coach Miroslav Koubek.

After the visit to Spain, the inspection trips will continue in England, Germany and France, where other players of the Czech national team are active.

In addition to the meeting with the players, the preparation for the next matches of the national team also continues, when we will face Ireland in Eden in Prague on March 26 in the semi-finals of the play-off for promotion to the World Cup.
