Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor defeated Gaziantep Basketball 70-59 in the semi-finals of the Türkiye Sigorta Men’s Federation Cup and made its way to the final.
Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor faced Gaziantep Basketball in the semi-finals of the Turkish Insurance Men’s Federation Cup.
In the match played at the Basketball Development Center National Teams Hall, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor started the match well against the Gaziantep team. The yellow-blacks finished the first quarter ahead 21-16. Increasing its tempo even more in the second period, Büyükşehir Belediyespor increased the difference to double digits and went to the locker room with a 41-30 advantage.
In the third quarter, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor could not prevent its opponent from getting close to the score in this section, but entered the final period ahead with a score of 48-46. Konya team regained control in the last quarter and won 70-59.
Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor became the rival of Çayırova Belediyesi in the final of the Turkish Insurance Men’s Federation Cup.
The champion in the cup will be determined after the final match to be played at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall on Sunday, January 18.
