Football, basketball and volleyball coaches of Kemer Municipality Central Sports Club, which operates within Kemer Municipality, visited Kemer Mayor Necati Topaloğlu and gave information about the work in their branches.
During the visit, which was also attended by Kemer Municipality Central Sports Club President Ayhan Süel, the activities carried out in football, volleyball and basketball branches were discussed. Coaches shared their current situation in the leagues and athlete development processes in detail. 434 athletes receive free training under the roof of the club.
“WE DO NOT LEAVE OUR CHILDREN ON THE STREET”
Rolling up his sleeves to raise children morally, disciplined and with team spirit, Mayor Topaloğlu underlined that Kemer Municipality covers all the expenses of the athletes and said, “We met with the football, volleyball and basketball coaches and they explained their situation in the leagues. Our first goal when starting this work was the idea of not leaving our children on the streets. We are working to raise our children in a moral, disciplined and respectful manner. Our friends in sports branches gave us information about their athletes. We will come to better places in the coming days. I am all “I thank our coaches for their efforts,” he said.
CLEAR LEAGUE GOALS IN FOOTBALL
Kemer Belediye Merkez Spor U13 and U14 Football Club Coach İskender Gökcan said, “We currently have 33 athletes. We are in the 3rd place in our own league. Our training is going very well.” U16 and U18 Coach Tayfun Yaz also said, “We are in the 4th place in the U16 League. We have three matches ahead of us. If we get a total of 7 points from these three matches, we will be eligible to play in the play-offs. We are in the 5th place in the U18 League. We want to play in the play-offs by winning the next matches.”
U12 Coach Melih Bildiş said, “There is no point system in the U12 League. There is a league here only for development purposes. We played 18 matches. We have 13 wins, 4 losses and one draw. There is no ranking in this league, but we finished 2nd in our own league.” he said.

Football Goalkeeper Coach Erkan Polat stated that they have 13 goalkeepers in different age groups and informed Mayor Topaloğlu about the situation of the goalkeepers.
COMPETE IN 6 CATEGORIES IN BASKETBALL
Basketball Coach Nilüfer Bağcı stated that the number of athletes reached 111 and said, “When we first started basketball courses, we started with 72 athletes. Later, this number increased to 111. We participate in competitions in 6 different categories: U12, U14 and U16 for boys, and U10, U11 and U12 for girls. The matches for men’s U14 and U16 have not started yet. In U12, we played both matches. “We won. The matches did not start in Girls U10 and U11. We lost our first match in U12. We aim to improve the techniques of our players and strengthen the harmony within the team in the long term.”

157 ATHLETES IN VOLLEYBALL
Volleyball Coach Vedat Demirel stated that they participated in competitions in many categories from midis to youth and said, “We participate in the competitions in the categories of midis, juniors, juniors, stars and youth. We have 2 wins and 2 losses in the youth category. We had 2 wins and 1 loss in the stars. We had 2 wins and 2 losses in the juniors. We had 4 wins and 1 loss in the midis. We currently have 157 athletes.”
