Kalimuendo to Frankfurt: PSG Loanee Joins on Loan from Nottingham Forest

Frankfurt formalized this Wednesday the arrival on loan of Arnaud Kalimuendo from Nottingham.

French striker Arnaud Kalimuendo has joined Frankfurt on loan with an option to buy until the end of the season, after five months without relief in Nottingham, the two clubs announced on Wednesday.

The discovery of the Premier League was difficult for the former PSG and Rennes striker, 23, who has only played nine ends of a match in the league since signing for Forest last summer. He also scored two goals in the Europa League.

With Frankfurt, currently 7th in the Bundesliga, he will have the opportunity to fight for European places. In recent years, the club on the banks of the Main has contributed to the emergence of young French attackers, such as Hugo Ekitiké or Randal Kolo Muani.

Kalimuendo takes the place of another French striker, Elye Wahi, loaned to Nice at the start of the transfer window.
