Interest in Samuel Kotto is increasing, that much is clear. After FC Barcelona already had him on the radar, there is now also interest from Italy. Several clubs have already expressed their interest in him.
Samuel Kotto is now also on the radar of Italian clubs
The player impressed at the African Cup of Nations and that has set tongues wagging as well as pens. With Fiorentina, Udinese and Genoa, according to Italian sources, there are at least three Italian teams that want to sign him, but there may be more.
Kotto’s market value is around a million euros, according to Transfermarkt. However, Barcelona may have wanted to go a step further to sign Kotto, although they would like to see him in action several more times in the near future.
Winter transfer or rather a summer transfer?
They may come to scout in Ghent in the spring, unless they want to bring him home this winter. At Barcelona they could also use some reinforcement in defense, now and in the future.
To date, no concrete offer has been received for the central defender, but De Buffalo’s certainly seem to be able to make a move with a good offer. In the Jupiler Pro League he was not yet able to make too big a difference.
