The name Marco Ottolini probably means nothing to you. However, after proving himself at Anderlecht, he continues to gain ground in Italy.
Former striker, Marco Ottolini did not really make an impression on Brescia. His reconversion, on the other hand, is taking him to the heights. His good relations with Herman Van Holsbeeck allowed him to join Anderlecht as a recruiter in 2015.
After three years at Neerpede, Ottolini became the recruiter of Juventus, again for three seasons, until 2021. In Turin, we then knew him in a role of coach of loaned players. Until Genoa’s proposal.
More and more responsibilities
The Griffon club offered him the role of sports director, an offer that did not fall on deaf ears. A new function which today allows it to return through the front door to the Juventus.

Three years after her departure, the Old Lady today formalized the return of Marco Ottolini, its new sports director. The former Anderlecht recruiter already took up residence yesterday to manage the Turin transfer window.
“Marco Ottolini brings with him a rich and diverse experience, acquired over time thanks to the different roles he has occupied in the world of football. His return represents a logical continuation for a professional career based on expertise, vision and in-depth knowledge of Italian and international football,” explains the club in its official press release.
