Jr. NBA WNBA FIP 2026: Tuscany Draft Success

The Draft Event Jr. Nba Wnba Fip 2026, Under 13 Male/Female Tuscany which took place in Livorno today 24 January 2026 was a great success.

In the stands to animate the Bruno Macchia sports hall, all 90 Tuscan clubs participating in the Under 13 M/F 2025/2026 Championship were present for a total of more than 1,500 people including parents and athletes.

Present were the Mayor of Livorno Luca Salvetti, the President of Fip Toscana Massimo Faraoni, the Delegate of Coni Livorno Gianni Giannone, the coach of the National Under 18 Men’s team Marco Sodini and the athlete of the Pielle Livorno club, national series B, Jacopo Lucarelli.

The event began with the Italian anthem and then moved on to institutional greetings from the Mayor of Livorno and the President of Fip Toscana Massimo Faraoni; subsequently there were interventions by Marco Sodini and Jacopo Lucarelli who made mention of the large crowd of spectators present, wishing the boys to one day wear the jersey of the national teams and why not, also that of the NBA teams.

Then came the delivery of the NBA franchises’ kits with related souvenir photos.

The numbers of the Jr. NBA WNBA, in this 2025/26 season in Italy there are 1,219 men’s and 285 women’s teams participating in the Under 13 Championship, the Tuscany format foresees the start of the gare for the next one February 22 to finish the 3 maggio. Subsequently, the play-offs and the Final Six for the regional title (8-9 and 10 May), from which the team admitted to the final event will emerge.

In short, certainly a pleasant morning spent under the sign of basketball which began the journey that leads to the Final Event, where up for grabs are the Jr. NBA WNBA Rings won last season by Olimpia Milano/Milwaukee Bucks and by Ginnastica Angiulli/Atlanta Hawks.
