Jordan Brand’s second Air Series model is inspired by the performance insights of bold and challenging athletes at every level. Designed for agile cuts and changes of direction, it helps players develop their games at an even faster pace. Jordan Brand’s goal is to continue supporting the next generation of great players.

The game-ready Air Series 2 was designed for her, and for every player on the court. It further strengthens the Jordan brand’s commitment to supporting women’s basketball and inspiring the next generation of stars.

Its sophisticated design inherits the previous series’ concept of emphasizing the run and cut, which are the most important keys in women’s basketball, and incorporates important improvements that further enhance the quickness of the step. These improvements come directly from player insights. The new model leverages NIKE, Inc.’s best innovations to further support female athletes.

A new Air Zoom unit in the forefoot provides superior responsiveness to match the speed of women’s basketball, which often relies on possession, movement, agility and shifty play. A thicker, drop-in Cushlon 3.0 midsole is wrapped in additional foam cushioning atop the outsole for even more comfort. This allows you to evade defenders at will.

The combination of Air Zoom and additional cushioning also provides extra support while providing even more flexibility and agility. On the other hand, the translucent TPU cage provides a lightweight and firm sense of fixation. The rubber’s herringbone traction pattern provides even more quickness and control.

The shoe was designed with the characteristics of women’s basketball in mind, which require more court time and possession for players. A pair of shoes that meet the needs of players.
