Södertälje’s Andreas Johansson tried to contain his feelings about the referees after the 1–2 loss against Mora. Now Marcus Hellgren Smed is reported for diving at the sequence.
– It’s best that I keep my mouth shut about it, the coach says LT.
There were heated feelings several times in Wednesday’s 1-2 meeting between Södertälje and Mora.
It all ended with penalties after each goal in the power play, but the game could well have been decided already in the first minutes of extra time. SSK then had to play four against three and pushed for the victory when Viktor Liljegren was instead sent off for goalie interference.
After the match, head coach Andreas Johansson had to hold back so as not to say too much about the verdict.
– I am not going to comment on it today, because then I will be suspended for 40 years, so it is best that I keep my mouth shut about it, he says to LT and continues about his right to speak.
– No, no, you must never say anything in any direction. So it’s just as well to keep quiet. We can take responsibility for our achievements, but others cannot. I’ll leave it there.

Reported for diving: “It’s too bad”
Now, on Thursday morning, it is not Viktor Liljegren who ends up on the disciplinary board’s table, but Mora goalkeeper Marcus Hellgren Smed. This is for diving.
“When Liljegren passes outside the goal yard, he touches Mora’s goalkeeper number 31, Marcus Hellgren Smed, in the head. Hellgren Smed falls backwards and loses both his helmet and his stick”they write on the Hockeyallsvenskan’s website.
– He is outside the goal area. It’s too bad, I think so. Can’t you watch video and stuff and take it back? Or I have no idea. After all, it is their goalkeeper who seeks him out, says SSK’s Jonas Ahnelöv to LT about the Liljegren situation.
Even Ahnelöv was annoyed after he was sent off during the match.
– It was good that we killed it, otherwise there would have been life in the hatch, he says.
