More exercise in everyday life
Lose weight with jogging: This is how you melt the pounds
There is no better exercise that can help you lose weight so quickly than jogging. Nevertheless, the topic has a problem: you have to overcome your inner weaker self.
At the latest when the last comfortable pair of jeans starts to pinch, we have to face the fact that we have gained a few pounds. Especially in times of the Corona crisis, which has forced millions of people to work from home, we lack sufficient exercise in everyday life. For this reason, many people decide without further ado and out of necessity to do more sport again. The only question here is how can you get rid of a few pounds with as little effort as possible? Most people who don’t like sports don’t like to hear the answer: jogging. As annoying as it may be to drag yourself out of the house regularly to go for a short run, you will quickly notice a noticeable improvement on the scales.
Find your personal comfort zone
In Germany alone, over five million people (aged 14 and over) go jogging or go for a forest or cross-country run in their free time. This not only keeps you physically fit, but also promotes your fat metabolism. And NOW comes the good news: you don’t even have to run particularly fast to burn the calories – quite the opposite! The fact is that the body uses more carbohydrates when running at higher speeds and more fat reserves when running slowly. Conversely, of course, this does not mean: the slower you move, the faster you will lose weight. In plain language, this actually just means that you can lose weight more effectively if you move more permanently – and at a normal running pace. When you find your comfort zone, jogging becomes more fun.
More muscle burns more mass
The practical thing about jogging is that – in addition to the increased calorie consumption – you not only train your legs, but also your bottom and your stomach. If you run regularly, your body will become more defined and therefore slimmer. However, don’t be alarmed at the beginning if the scales show more weight: When you build muscle, you first gain weight because muscles are heavier than fat cells. However, as soon as you burn more calories than you consume, the pounds will fall off. For comparison: For example, if you weigh 75 kilograms and go running for 30 minutes, you will burn up to 385 calories. Cycling would only burn you 231 calories and swimming would burn 308 calories in the same amount of time. Even walking, i.e. walking quickly, can only get rid of up to 135 calories in half an hour.
Jogging is healthy – and makes you happy
Anyone who has ever jogged knows – even if they struggled – after running at the latest: you feel better, if not even happier. On the one hand, because you have overcome your inner bastard, and on the other hand, because your body releases happiness hormones. Apart from that, the circulation is also stimulated, the metabolism is stimulated, the immune system is strengthened and stress is reduced. These are all factors that, in addition to losing weight while jogging, speak for the sport of running. And now, of course, there is a big but: In order to reduce your weight quickly and effectively, you should slowly but surely increase your running speed and duration after a few weeks. Because your body gets used to training very quickly, so performance stops if you don’t increase the stimuli.
Properly equipped before the first run
The most important accessories when jogging are shoes: When running, it is important that your feet have enough freedom of movement – for this reason they should Jogging shoes Always be half to a full size larger than the street shoes you wear in everyday life. In addition, the fit and the rolling movement of your feet also play an important role when trying on shoes: you can only walk optimally in them if your feet are properly supported and can roll properly. When it comes to clothing, however, you have complete freedom when it comes to size, color and length. However, pay attention to breathable materials that transport sweat to the outside. This applies to the running shorts, the T-shirt, that Functional underwear and the Parish equally.

This makes the buggy more suitable for off-road use, so you can push the buggy on field and forest paths as well as asphalt roads without any problems. Apart from that, you automatically train your arms. Before jogging, you should consider the following:
- Due to the additional load, you should initially run slower so that your body can get used to the additional weight and you don’t get out of breath so quickly.
