Italian Sprint Race Champions: Valtellina’s Content Writers

Valtellina athletes confirm themselves at the top of Italian ski mountaineering.

Among the women, however, national title for Giulia Murada, ahead of Alba De Silvestro and Katia Mascherona, in an all-Valtellina podium.

The youth categories

Among the Under 20s, another Valtellina title thanks to Melissa Bertolina, while in the men’s race Lorenzo Milesi was crowned Italian champion. The podiums were completed by Luca Curione and Emanuele Bertolina for men, and by Silvia Boscacci and Annalisa Pitscheider for women.

Among the Under 18s, Gioele Improveti and Giorgia Pollini crossed the finish line ahead of everyone. In the men’s category, second place went to Alex Vavassori and third to Matteo Blangero, while in the women’s category Marlies Sartori and Teresa Schivalocchi completed the podium.

Among the Under 16s, Valtellina was still ahead of everyone thanks to Marco Previsdomini in a race that saw Tomaso Coda Fanetti finish second and Damiano Improveti complete the podium. In the women’s race, success and Italian title for Giulia Tomasoni, ahead of the two Valtellinese Gioia Pozzi and Elisa Viviani.
