Inter Milan Win: Serie A Lead Maintained

The Interistas won this Wednesday in Parma and consolidated their first place in the Serie A standings.

Always at the top. Inter Milan increased their lead at the top of the Serie A table with a 2-0 win at Parma on Wednesday, with Federico Dimarco and Marcus Thuram scoring the goals to claim all three points in thick fog at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

This victory allows Inter to total 42 points, four more than AC Milan, who host Genoa on Thursday, and Naples, held to a 2-2 draw by Hellas Verona on Wednesday. Parma occupies 15th place in the ranking with 18 points.

The visitors created numerous chances in the first half, but had to wait three minutes before the break for Dimarco to give them the lead.

The second half offered little spectacle, with Petar Sucic missing a golden opportunity to double Inter’s advantage before Thuram scored in stoppage time to seal the victory.
