Inter Milan recruited their first new player in the January 2026 transfer market, Leon Jakirovic.
BOLASPORT.COM – Inter Milan officially announced its first recruitment in the January 2026 transfer market.
He is a prodigy from Croatia who is just 18 years old, Leon Jakirovic.
Inter Milan announced the transfer on Monday (26/1/2026).
Tied to a long-term contract, Jakirovic arrived in exchange for 2.5 million euros from Dinamo Zagreb.
This amount does not include a bonus worth 2 million euros which will be paid depending on the terms agreed by the two clubs.
However, the Croatian national team’s mainstay center back at the 2025 U-17 World Cup was not immediately included in Inter Milan’s main squad.
The wonderkid will first join the Inter U-23 team which competes in Serie C.
Inter was praised for taking a good step by recruiting Jakirovic.
The teenager born on January 16 2008 emerged as a talent targeted by giant European clubs.
Apart from Inter, he is also interested in Chelsea and Man United.
