Our Malaysian badminton doubles pairs are history makers! At the recent Indonesia Masters 2026, the players clinched three out of five titles, marking the first time the country has won three titles in one Super 500 tournament.

Women’s doubles pair, Pearly Tan adn M. Thinaah, were the first to secure a win, after their opponents, Japan’s Arisa Igarashi and Miyu Takahashi, withdrew at the last minute.The win marks Pearly and Thinaah’s first title for 2026. However, the pair expressed mixed feelings over the victory, saying it’s a shame they couldn’t play against their opponents in the finals.
