One of Putri Kusuma Wardani’s rivals at the 2026 India Open, PV Sindhu, welcomed her home championship with optimism and highlighted the role of her coach.

JUARA.NET – The host women’s singles team and one of Putri Kusuma Wardani’s rivals, PV Sindhu, came to the 2026 India Open feeling optimistic.

The super 750 tournament is planned to be staged this January 13-18 at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, New Delhi, India.

Sindhu previously also participated in the Malaysia Open 2026, last week.

The performance of the Indian badminton queen was solid at the tournament in the neighboring country.

Victory after victory made him qualify for the semifinals.

Unfortunately, his progress was stopped by China’s top leader, Wang Zhi Yi, so he couldn’t experience playing in the top match.

Interestingly, this good performance actually came after difficult times.

As is known, Sindhu suffered an injury last October.

This is what then adds to the motivation of the 30 year old badminton player.
