“Last year I really enjoyed playing in the BSNF and living the experience of Puerto Rico and its culture. I feel deeply grateful and blessed for the opportunity to represent this beautiful island, help the team compete and, hopefully, make it back to the Olympic Games,” McGee said in written statements.

The World Cup in Puerto Rico will have the participation of New Zealand, Spain, Italy, Senegal, and the United States. Leading figures from international women’s basketball are expected to participate, such as Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and Kelsey Plum.

And, although the United States is already qualified, the tournament will grant three additional places to the World Cup, increasing the importance of each match.
