Ibaraki Robots U18 Tryouts 2026 | Youth Team Announcement

Ibaraki Robots would like to inform you that we will be holding a tryout for those who wish to join the Ibaraki Robots U18 Youth Category in 2026.

The “Ibaraki Robots Youth Category” has the ultimate concept of player development, working to further improve the competitiveness of basketball in Ibaraki Prefecture, discover new human resources, and develop and strengthen players, with the aim of producing future Ibaraki Robots players, players for the Japanese national team, and players who will be active on the world stage.

Tryout Overview

Implementation date

①February 15th (Sun) 13:00-17:00
②March 15th (Sun) 13:00-17:00

  • Reception will be from 13:00.

venue

M-SPO Udom Arena (Machinaka/Sports/Nigiwai Plaza)
(3-6-8 Minamicho, Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture 310-0021)

  • There is a possibility that the venue will be changed to a gymnasium near Mito City.
  • If Udom Arena is being held, please use the nearby coin parking lot.

Implementation details

We will ask you to participate in the U18 team’s practice and make a decision based on the activities.

  • If you are currently unable to participate due to injury or other reasons, please contact the Ibaraki Robots U18 Office via email.
  • If it is difficult to participate in the above schedule, please contact us so that we can accommodate you individually to the extent possible.

Pass/fail result

In principle, we will notify you of your pass/fail results via email within 7 days after the tryout, but in some cases, it may be possible to notify you of the result after the tryout ends on March 15th (Sunday). Thank you for your understanding.

  • Tryouts will be held completely privately.
    Parents and family members of students taking entrance exams are not allowed to view the event.
  • Photos of the tryout will be taken at the club as a record of the activities.
    Please note that the photos taken may be used on the Ibaraki Robots official website, SNS, etc.

How to apply

  • There are documents that must be prepared and submitted in advance. Please prepare with plenty of time.

①Please apply in advance using the form below.

  • Once you receive the application completion email, your application will be accepted.
  • The application deadline is one day before each date. Please note that applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.

②Please bring the following submissions (3 items) to the venue on the day of the tryout.
