Húsk’s Wife: Future Plans Revealed

On Sunday, wonderful news spread around Slovakia. The family of Slovak goalkeeper Adam Húska will grow with a new member. However, the happy news immediately raised questions. His wife Taylor let it be heard some time ago that children are not planned until after Adam’s career. Does this mean that the 28-year-old hockey player will hang up his skates sooner?

Will Adam end his career?

In an exclusive interview for Šport24.sk from May of last year, the American influencer spoke openly about her personal life. She bluntly admitted that they both envision parenthood after the end of the professional career of the Slovak goalkeeper. “It seems far away now, but it’s not. I’d like to have kids, a house, and settle down. Adam might become a coach, but I imagine the kids and the stability. That would be amazing.” she said honestly.

According to her, they are also clear about where they want to anchor. In the US. Adam is currently fishing in Vladivostok, Russia, but by the time the children are small, they want to have a solid home in America. This logically indicates that the native of Zvolen will sooner or later have to change employers and move beyond the big puddle. His contract with the KHL club ends after the 2025/26 season. “We definitely want a family, but by the time the kids are in school, it would be nice to settle down,” Taylor continued. She could imagine three children, while Adam would settle for two.

But one thing is certain. If a boy is born, he will walk in the footsteps of tin. “I think that hockey will never end here, and if we have a boy, it is clear to me that he will probably play hockey,” she added with a smile.

Taylor: I will give birth at home

They announced the happy news of expecting a baby to the world through a touching video on social networks. There was also a photo from the ultrasound. The post already has more than 23,000 likes and fans were literally burning with curiosity. The questions kept pouring in. So Taylor decided to answer. “I’ve had over 500 questions, so let’s answer them. I’ll be giving birth at home in the US. I’ll be leaving Russia before my third trimester starts. So I’ll be home and Adam will come when his season is over.” she responded on Instagram.

The moment they found out

Adam’s reaction to becoming a father was worth it, she said. “It was very sweet. We actually found out together. I was very nervous and I have it on video. It’s a very sweet memory for us that will stay with us forever. Should I share it?” she asked the fans. Later, she published on social networks images from the moment they found out about the pregnancy, which do not require any accompanying comment.

When will he be born?

The birth is planned for the summer. “We’re having a baby in June. I’m half way there. My first trimester was surprisingly good. I had occasional bouts of nausea. My energy was normal, I was still able to exercise, but I had aversion to certain foods. Sometimes I didn’t feel like eating anything even though I was hungry.” she described.

Although the baby will be born in the United States of America, they will not begrudge their Slovak roots. “He will learn both English and Slovak. As for the name, we’ll choose one that we both like. Maybe we’ll come up with something that’s both American and Slovak. Like Adam, for example.” she wrote, adding a laughing emoticon.
