In peace

Striker Hulk is one of the team’s biggest dreams Fluminense for the 2026 season. In search of a new center forward in the football market, Tricolor is interested in the 39-year-old player, who still has an undefined future at Atlético-MG.

Technician speaks out about Hulk

Last Sunday (11), after the 1-1 draw with Betim, in the first round of the Campeonato Carioca, Atlético-MG coach, Jorge Sampaoli, responded about Hulk’s situation.

During a press conference, the Argentine commander stated that he had not spoken to the player. With the season starting, however, he wants a quick definition regarding the squad.

– I don’t have any conversations with him. It’s a topic I’m not familiar with. It’s a much more institutional theme than a sporting one. Honestly, I haven’t had a conversation with him, we are training and preparing. Currently, Hulk is training with us with the group that, today, is not planned for him to play (in the next games). He is training very hard with us.

The Argentine coach opened up behind the scenes at the Club and highlighted that the medallion has been appearing well in training. The player has a contract until the end of the year and, after not liking the renewal offer presented, does not intend to extend its bond.

– He is training very well, we know his ability. We have to explore the best position, the best movements. With us, in the end, he scored goals. It is exclusively up to each match, each moment, to choose the position that allows you to have an advantage over the defenders. If Hulk is working with us, and we are trying to improve him, we believe that there is positional improvement.
