Holzminden News: Hahn Wins Stadtoldendorf Badminton Tournament

Stadtoldendorf (red). After the winter holidays and several snow-free school days, the first match day of the youth tournament round of the Holzminden Badminton District Association started with a comparatively low participation. 16 children from five clubs competed against each other in the sports hall on “Yorckstrasse” in Stadtoldendorf.

Holzminden participant with a strong balance sheet

Alexander Hahn from GSV Holzminden was particularly successful. The oldest participant on the day of the tournament won all four matches and brought with him experience from adult league play.

Good performances from Bodenwerder and Stadtoldendorf

The young players from TV Bodenwerder also impressed. The youngest participant was Maya Linnemann, who won three of her four games. Club colleague Finja Koch underlined the good level of training of the club from Münchhausenstadt with four wins.
