In the American Basketball League (NBA), Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 122-120 and ended its opponent’s 5-game unbeaten streak.
Hosting the Western Conference leader Thunder at Kaseya Center, the Heat got their 22nd victory of the season in the match where Bam Adebayo scored 30 points, 12 rebounds, Norman Powell scored 19 points and Pelle Larsson scored 16 points.
For the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 39 points and Aaron Wiggins’ 18 points could not prevent their 8th loss of the season.
– Spurs defeated Timberwolves
San Antonio Spurs defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, hosted at Frost Bank Center, 126-123.
Victor Wembanyama scored 39 points, 9 rebounds and De’Aaron Fox played with 25 points and 12 assists in the Western Conference second Spurs, which reached 29 wins this season.
For the Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards’ career-high 55 points and Jaden McDaniels’ 23 points could not prevent the Timberwolves’ 16th defeat of the season.
