DHB goalkeeper
Wolff’s most spectacular parades at the European Handball Championships
With legs in the sky, long arms or in the splits: DHB goalkeeper Andreas Wolff’s parades at this European Handball Championship are impressive. His best actions in pictures.
What Andreas Wolff shows on the record is “out of this world,” said DHB teammate Renars Uscins after the 30:28 main round win against Norway. Wolff parried 22 balls and was voted Man of the Match with a catch rate of 44 percent.
“Incredible performance from Andi,” praised national coach Alfred Gislason. And Marko Grgic said bluntly: “It’s crazy how often he saves our asses.” If things don’t go well in attack or defense, Wolff is there.
Handball European Championship: Wolff makes a save worth seeing
The DHB keeper’s parades can not only decide games, but also look spectacular. Wolff fishes the throws out of the air with his long arms, parries with one leg in the sky or dives into the splits. He also catches one or two throws.
In this photo series we have collected the best pictures of Wolff’s parades at the 2026 European Handball Championships in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
