Hakon Haraldsson: LOSC Contract Extension Confirmed

Most decisive player since the start of the season, Hakon Haraldsson extended his contract with LOSC at the end of last week. The Icelander took the opportunity to look back on his history with the northern club and discuss his ambitions on a collective level.

Extend, as obvious

“I am very happy to extend my adventure here. It’s been a great time here, my last two and a half years. I am extremely happy to extend at LOSC. I feel really good within the club. I have very good teammates with youth and experience. I think it’s a good mix of both. I couldn’t be happier. We have everything here. Great facilities, good pitches, good coaches. Everything is really good here. »

His progress since his arrival

“I think a lot of aspects of the French championship are difficult. It’s physical and fast. So I had to learn to think faster and then overall improve passing, shooting and working in small spaces. It was a difficult first season, but I feel like I did a lot of work on my body and my mind. I feel like I’ve improved everything. The priority is the last third of the field. I feel like I can do better with the last pass or the last shot to score more or make them score more. This is what I am currently implementing. »

His role within the team

“I feel like I have more responsibility, more experience too and I also feel more pressure. I try to be present and help young people as they get older. It goes by quickly, but I’m happy like that. My dream would be to win a trophy with LOSC. Of course, it’s not simple. The championship is very difficult and we have just come out of the Coupe de France. That’s why I play. The dream would really be to lift a trophy with LOSC. That would be amazing. »
