Glushakov named the most underrated football player in the history of Russian football

Former midfielder of Lokomotiv, Spartak and the Russian national team Denis Glushakov took part in a quick survey.

– Train every day.

— What is the most unusual stadium where you have ever played?
– “Alashkert”. Armenia.

— What is the most unusual trophy in your collection?
– Unusual? Legends Cup.

— The most underrated football player in the history of Russian football, in your opinion?
— There are many, it’s hard to say. We have half the country undervalued. Let it be Glushakov.

— What is the most unusual gift you have received from fans?
— There was a lot. And it’s difficult to single out just one. Bottles, flasks and soccer balls – there was everything. I don’t know. It’s so hard for me to say. Maybe it was strange when they signed on the first page of the passport.

— What is the most memorable goal of your career?
— Let there be a goal for Amkar in the 90th+3rd minute.

— What is the most memorable goal you have seen?
– There are many of them. Let Ibrahimovic go from the center of the field through himself,” Glushakov said in a video on the Telegram channel Legends Cup.

Glushakov ended his career in October 2025. In addition to playing for Lokomotiv and Spartak, Glushakov also played for Nika Moscow, SKA-Rostov, Akhmat, Khimki, Paris NN, Spartak Kostroma, Urartu and other teams.
